A global software licensing organization is seeking an IT Network Engineer that will represent a key area in the organization’s ability to keep pace with the IT needs of their clients. IT infrastructure is considered one of the cornerstone areas for supporting projected growth.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operates, monitors, and manages the IT infrastructure
• Finds incidents and follows the correct escalation procedures as well as works with the global incident management tool and team
• Supports business end-users in exceptional cases; deputy for first-second level support
• Manages patch management for clients and servers, and adjusts the security level or permissions
• Creates Software Packages for distribution
• Assures the IT meets the Service Level Agreement and the operation of the IT infrastructure
• Proofs change requests, optimizes installation on client requests, and stays within the internal infrastructure guidelines – change management
• Keeps IT infrastructure documentation up to date
• Monitors and measures system performance and resources
• Works in the local subsidiary with possibility of international travel in order to support other subsidiaries

Knowledge, Qualifications & Abilities:

• Up to date Microsoft Certification (MCITP EA) required
• Strong SQL Server (2005, 2008) skills required
• Understanding MSI technology required
• Networking (basics) skills required
• Good understanding of hardware (notebooks, workstations, and servers) required
• Citrix (CCA, CCEA) Certifications is a plus
• Familiarity of SharePoint, Cisco and VMware is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Foreign languages are a plus
• Training in Zurich, Switzerland (CH) and Singapore between 14 – 30 days
• Travel for the job: 20%
